It is June. This is a time of radiance and abundance, growth and change. It is a time when we both nourish what we have planted and let go of what has withered.
So excited to remind you that tonight is our Live Simple and Sacred online circle celebrating the Summer Solstice. We will meet live via Zoom 7:00 central time zone, tonight, Friday, June 13th. (Meeting ID: 815 6005 8251 Passcode: 30days). Bring a candle, your current favorite goddess or gemstone, and your prayerbook for a sacred pause and ritual in community. See you soon!
Today I lay down what I am carrying,
step slowly away
from the to-do list,
open my heart
and walk right into joy.
I celebrate wholeness and discovery
and allow myself
great breaths of delight
and moments of surprise.
Today I am new in my bones* again,
spring light and free.
I am bathed in sunshine and restoration.
I return again and again to center.
I live from this place
of wholeness and knowing,
this place of magic and trust.
*“New in my bones” phrasing comes from Patricia Monaghan.

The Power of Daily Practice...
With #30DaysofGoddess
we commit each day
to a goddess-centered path,
to ourselves,
to the sacred in the ordinary
and the magic in the everyday.
We commit to our own wholeness,
to our hearts and to our lives.
What I long for most often is to be able to carry the peace and presence, the centeredness and serenity, that I feel every morning alone in daily practice with me into the rest of the day. I long to be present with grace and compassion, peace and purpose. I long to feel centered and secure, unflappable, and connected. I long to hold clear awareness and present moment experiencing as I move through my tasks and conversations. I crave the stillness and clarity, the sharp and certain sensation of being enveloped by the sacred: my feet on holy ground, my heart open, my mind clear, and my life connected to a broad and beautiful whole. Instead, I become frazzled and distracted, frenzied and fragmented, agitated and lost in future-looking and past-remembering and the never ending to-dos that form the soundtrack of my days. I want to be who I am alone on the porch with my prayerbook and pen, sun on my shoulders, bare feet on the ground, bathed by birdsong, and centered in wholeness all day long. I meet my best self in daily practice and I want to inhabit her ways throughout the day.
For now, I celebrate the complexity of being human, the reality of a relational life. I reject the perfectionism that I sense lurking beneath the surface of these longings, the dream vision of what I can be instead of the fullness and muchness of me. We are not meant to be smooth and unchanging, perfect and peaceful, unflappable and stagnant in our sameness. We are meant to be complex and wild, to weave a tapestry of living from all our many threads, to be full color humans. This is presence. This is peace. This is wholeness. Bring your attention to where you are, commit to that. This is the practice of center. The life practice is to return.
Begin with what you have:
breath, body, attention.
Make a prayer with what you find:
earth, sky, wind, water.
Cast your spell with how you live:
choice, devotion, creation.
Thanks for being here!
Let us flourish.
Let us stand on the earth,
grounded and strong.
Let us flow like the rivers,
adaptable and patient.
Let us change with the wind,
graceful and wild.
Let us blaze like the fire,
full of passion and inspiration,
brilliant in our shining.
Let us root down and rise up.
Let us soar and let us bloom.
Let us flourish into wholeness
under a wide sky
on a world formed of starfire.
Let us flourish into the knowing
that we carry magic in our veins
and galaxies in our bones,
the rhythms of the earth’s heartbeat
pulsing in our feet.
Much love,
Molly
Sending love and blessings! I'll see you all in the replay! ❤️
