LIVE Simple and Sacred Circle, Delightful October
LIVE circle starts in TWO hours!
It is October. This is a season of mystery, of magic and enchantment. It is a time when ancestors speak and change whispers and when we are invited to step close to the heart, into our own mystery and our own depth.
So excited to remind you that tonight is our Live Simple and Sacred online circle celebrating Samhain. We will meet live via Zoom 7:00 central time zone, tonight, Friday, October 17th. (Meeting ID: 815 6005 8251 Passcode: 30days). Bring a candle, your current favorite goddess or gemstone, and your prayerbook for a sacred pause and ritual in community. See you soon!
There are times
in our lives
when we wander,
skipping through possibilities
and dialoguing with desire
and feeling our way
through the darkness.
There are times
in which we settle into certainty,
feel the fiery core of resolve
within our bellies
and the light of knowing
in our own hearts.
The life practice is to return,
to keep arriving
at the doorway
of our own hearts,
so glad to see ourselves
come home.

The Power of Daily Practice...
“...two components emerged as central to awe. One is bigness, vastness, power beyond our normal frame of reference — though sometimes we can feel awe when we encounter very small things: a single cell, an etching on a grain of sand. The other is mystery — something we don’t understand — which triggers the need for accommodation: the process by which we adjust our mental structures to assimilate a new experience…Simply put, awe is the feeling of being in the presence of a vast mystery.” --Dacher Keltner, No Small Wonder
“I know that I will never understand everything, but that doesn’t stop me from trying. I am content to live in the mystery, to be surrounded by the unknown. I am content to be a seeker, a pilgrim, a traveler on the road to nowhere.” —Henry Miller, Black Spring
Part of the mysterious and powerful alchemy of daily practice is that each day it offers the opportunity to begin again while simultaneously carrying the deep magic, trust, power and connection of all the days that have gone before. It invites us to step in to awe, to step into mystery, to make these experiences a regular part of our lives and our days.
What are you but a miracle,
a mystery given form,
a statistical impossibility
right here,
right now
anyway,
the pulse of the infinite
inside your skin,
the breath of the holy
in your chest,
sacred ground beneath your feet,
at home inside eternity.
Thanks for being here!
Today,
I hope you call your attention
back to you
and recenter it within.
I hope you settle into your body
if only for a spell
and feel the root of your power,
nourishing and strengthening you.
Today,
I hope you stand
on the spinning Earth
alive with mystery
and whirling with enchantment
and feel love
within you
and around you.
Much love,
Molly
